The fight begins in New York City
Saturday, July 16th 2011 marks the dawn of a new era.
It is the day when a handful of humans take a stand against the covert invasion of earth by creatures from another realm.
We are proud to unveil Meatspace Invasion during Come Out and Play 2011, the world’s greatest outdoor gaming festival which this year takes place on Governors Island, New York.
Governors Island is a historic island in Upper New York Bay. The place had been a military base since the eighteen century until 2003 and is now open to the public during summer weekends.
How fitting that the first official battle against renegade monsters in our Meatspace will take place in a former war base!
Anyway we can’t wait to hear your feedbacks, directly at Governors Island if you can make it there or on this website. The iPhone app may still be a bit green (monster technology is difficult to implement!) but it should be ready to play its part on the field and we felt we could not delay the confrontation any longer.
I couldn’t join the fight. But I watched it over the net with the Spectral viewer. A few wins, a few losses…each camp is readying.
But most scary of all, I witnessed water invaders! My town is right by the sea. The seashore walks are going to get hairy!
Water monsters?! Marseille needs to pick-up the game fast.

The game was awesome! I’ve never played anything like it before. I can’t wait for the release.
It is frightening to think invaders are everywhere, in south of France and New York as well ! However, I am very proud and happy to belong to the first people to fight them !!!
